Advantages: All The Singles pretty much

Disadvantages: same old thing

I hate it when groups do this, especially ones i like.
Remix albums are by definition gap fillers, used to make money whilst the group take a rest and don't have to do virtually any promotion.
All the tracks on it have probably been released before and are no doubt on the b-sides of the singles they are remixes of.

Remix albums show lack of effort and are just a quick cash in which is not really fair on the fans of the group as they will go out and buy it despite probably owning all the tracks already.

In the 20 or so minutes i spent flicking thru the tracks on this album i wasn't exactly dazzled by anything except the first track which there was absolutely no need to remix so they pretty much haven't!

The other tracks are not bad, altho nothing really sticks out.. if you have the originals then i'd give this album a miss... and if are new to destinys child don't make this your first DC purchase. Buy the writings on the wall instead!

Its does sound very good as far as quality and production are concerned and as usual with destinys child its nicely packaged with a nice inlay booklet.

superb track, pretty much nothing has changed on theis remix but good all the same


2. Emotion (Neptunes Remix)

poor to be honest... never that great a song beforehand tho

3. Bootylicious (Rockwilder Remix)

FUNK FUNK FUNK!!! i say no more

4. Say My Name (Timbaland Remix)

just plain annoying song. much better pre remix

5. Bug A Boo (Refugee Camp Remix feat. Wyclef Jean)

great track originnally. very funky.. not as funky anymore tho :(

6. DOT (The E-Poppi Mix)

one of the worst DC songs in my opinion and they should not have bothered putting it on this album.

never liked this song when it wasn't remixed altho this is a far better version. lovely beats

10. Jumpin' Jumpin' Remix Extended Version Featuring Jermaine Dupri, Da Brat & Lil Bow Wow

this is actually very very good. some nice rapping altho do they really need 3 of them ??!!

11. Bills, Bills, Bills (Maurice's Xclusive Livegig Mix)

the original is far better than this pap mix to be honest. like i've said before if you want destinys child just get 'The writings on the wall'

not bad... nice soulfull beats
