*About the album* This is a more upbeat pop album (with tracks hightlighting all the problems within our society), compared with her other more folk genre of music on her previous albums "Pieces of you" and "spirit". The main reason I am a big fan of Jewel is because she writes her own music (a rare talent in today's music industry mast producted boy/girl band drivel). Also she can play her own instrument, she is quite the diva on the acoustic guitar (unlike useless Girl/boy bands whose only talent is to sing, dance and look pretty, not very well I might add). *Appearence of the CD* The Cd inlay contains all ... This Way is Jewel Kilcher's latest album. Jewel is a worldwide multimillion selling singer songwriter, poet, actress etc etc? She's originally Alaskan but resides in the US and seems to be very popular worldwide but not in the UK. This is Jewel's fourth album (if you include the Christmas one in 1999) and Jewel fans waited for 3 years for this. The previous albums, Pieces Of You and Spirit were of the folk/country variety, it may be off putting for some but I can guarantee the intelligent music listener a great piece of art.
