I Need You - LeAnn Rimes

Rating:
Introduction. LeAnn Rimes although still very young in age, has been around on the country music scene for years since 1996 in fact when she was 13 years of age! She has had many albums already released that are more country in nature, but this album is now showing her cross over into the main stream so to say. Leann had her first big hit with the Ballad “How Do I Live” which got her worldwide recognition. She, in a few years later, burst onto the scene with the hit number one single “Can’t Fight The Moonlight” which was number one on both sides of the Atlantic. It was the theme to the Coyote Ugly movie of which four songs that were ...

I must start off my review by stating for the record that, as a singer, I think LeAnn Rimes is hard to beat. She has a fantastic voice and with the right song can do amazing things. Unfortunately she and everyone else involved with her don't seem to know what to do with her. Her background is in country music and this is where she first came to prominence with Grammy award winning album Blue a few years back when she was only 13 or so (she's not much older now). She has a perfect country voice and when she's in that mode (such as on Blue and last year's collection of covers of country classics, simply entitled Leann Rimes) it's a dream come true. ...

upon many different genre for its inspiration. One of my favourites is "Purple Rain".You may know this as a Prince song but LeAnn Rimes managed to turn it into something special! It`s full genuine "country pop" and I don`t think that any fan of this music will be disappointed. LeAnn has now reached the ripe old age of 20 and I for one can`t wait for more tracks in the style of"More That Anyone Deserves" or "Looking Through Your Eyes". Well recommended. ...
