THRILLER is the legendary album by pop star Michael Jackson.
The album consists of 12 tracks which i will review.

The opening single WANNA BE STARTIN' SOMETHIN' is a terrific fast paced opener with a quite funky beat. The chorus rocks with it's catchy tune and Jackson's vocals add a edgy sound.

BABY BE MINE oozes smoothness especially in the vocals which are so relaxing and the chorus is superb.

GIRL IS MINE features the vocals of PAUL McCARTNEY. As for the song it is so mellow and gentle with a catchy chorus that you can crone to. The lyrics are heartfelt and it is sung with great passion.

THRILLER is memorable not just for the video, but also the song. It has a funky rhythm and the scary overtones add a freshness not seen in music before. The lyrics tell a great story and the energy is there in abundance.

BEAT IT is a fast paced song from the off and the chorus is brilliant with such vigour to it.

My favourite Jackson song of all time is BILLIE JEAN. The intro is so memorable with it's cool sound and when Jackson's vocals come in it's just perfect. The smoothness of the song is fantastic and the chorus has just got to be sung along with.

HUMAN NATURE contains some beautiful vocals and a nice beat that builds to the chorus.

PYT has lyrics that tell a great story aided by the freshness of the vocals and the wonderful melodies.

LADY IN MY LIFE is a song that grew on me after hearing it a few times as it reaches the chorus with some lovely vocals.

SOMEONE IN THE DARK has a catchy chorus aided by a great dance beat that ges you on the dance floor.

There is another version of BILLIE JEAN followed by the last track on the album which is CAROUSEL an under rated Jackson song with it's mellowness that guides you along as you listen.

Overall, this is arguably the greatest album of all time. Nearly all the songs are classics and there's little you can fault. The dance songs are just immense and the slower tracks contain beautiful vocals. Avaliable from AMAZON at £8.78 this is the album why Michael Jackson will never be forgotten.
