'Time Does Not Heal' is commonly regarded as one of the classic albums of progressive thrash metal, presumably as the genre is so obscure and sparsely populated that barriers to entry are suitably low. While it is indeed a high quality album, mixing thrash metal with experimental touches (mainly in the sheer quantity of ever-changing guitar riffs), it tries far too hard to prove itself at a cost to the simple enjoyment offered by the band's previous work. It's also a hell of a lot slower, and the average song length borders on tedious.
