I will never cease to be astounded by the simple beauty of Nick Drake’s songs and vocals. In order to write this review, I’ve sat down and put Time of No Reply on, and the sense of wonder and genuine awe that it inspires have stilled my writing. I’m now on the third track, and remain unsure whether I should be primarily typing or listening… Nick Drake, born in 1948, sadly departed in 1974, released three albums during his brief career, Five Leaves Left (1969), Bryter Layter (1970), and Pink Moon (1972).
