Warchild: Help - A Day In The Life Of
by EllieKate565 - written on 15/09/06 (Useful, 89 readings)
Rating:
charity record, raising money for children whose lives are torn apart as a result of war. This album is available in CD or download format and I belive the Artists involved donated their tracks free of charge. The original Help album featured a wide range of music reflecting the popular and up and coming artists of 1995, and this album is no different. Some of the hottest acts of 2005 feature on this record, along with some lesser known, but equally talented names. It Contains 22 tracks and the artists involved were told they had to write and record in 24 hours (which is why some opten for cover versions perhaps!) The first notable thing about this album is that it is ...

Now That's What I Call Music! 61
by deb10 - written on 02/08/05 (Very useful, 1229 readings)
Rating:
of Various Artists . Its no 1 in the charts at the moment so that’s a good enough reason to buy it as well as some of the pumping tunes. Yes there are some rotten ones but you younger ones probably think I’m just being old and the likes of Mcfly etc. are really good. There’s no swearing and the children enjoy listening in and singing away in the back of the car. Cant be bad eh. Also recommended for BBQ’s if the conversation gets a bit low, nothing better than a few beers and crank that knob. It’s the album of summer. Just about everyone stocks it, including Tesco, HMV and Woolies. Usual websites as well such Amazon, CD Wow and CD Direct sell it too. Produced by ...
