The first i heard about this album was when i took a trip to my local HMV and saw it on a preview shelf where i stopped and had a listen. After standing in the middle of the shop for about half an hour i suddenly realised that people were starting to see that i had been there for quite some time! I thought that it would be est if i stopped ...

s What I Call Music compilation to be released in 2004, and saw a 5 month gap between it and the previous release. This gave some of the more popular Artists time to release some catchy tracks, including some Xmas favourites from 2003. Usually, the dancier and more RnB based tracks are focused upon in the second disc. However, here they are mixed up among the tracks on both discs, which works very well. Disc 1 kicks off with a quartet of female solo artists and their respective hits from the time slot, with Britney s Toxic, Kylie s Red Blooded Woman, Jameliah s Thank You and the extremely catchy Milkshake from Kelis setting a good tone. which if you haven t heard it before will become all too familiar; 2) "Can You Feel It?" by The Jacksons has been used by a lot of Artists of late, but this original version gives the full family effect here by the original Michael Jackson and his brothers. I ve always liked this song but I never really felt alongside other songs in their discography that it s the best that could well be applied on here. And, as I did say at the beginning, "Feel The Force," really does set the style here, because this song doesn t have any "outer space" electric keyboards used here to add colour. But you do get the original Disco stomping song. What a ...

Kremasta Nera - Ataraxia
Distinctive sound, mixing classical and folk influences with a modern touch.
Songs can be grouped into several styles, without much variation within.
Back to the Known - Bad Religion
Glorious return to the older style that still moves forward, with a few early classics.
Only ten minutes long, and some songs are less fun.
Curse Of The Hidden Mirror - Blue Oyster Cult - Heavy Metal - 2008
Past Times With Good Company - Blackmore's Night
More diverse than the studio albums, with less filler.
Songs extended for far too long, and Deep Purple fans perhaps leave even more annoyed than before.
Mafia - Zakk Wylde & Black Label Society
A little less derivative of Ozzy Osbourne.
Hardly any songs stand out from all the filler.
Living Targets - Beatsteaks
Inoffensive melodic hard rock.
Pretends to be a punk album.
Brasil - Ratos De Porao
Superb thrash-punk throughout, classic
Ot Serdca K Nebu - Arkona
Great vocals, great hymn/ethnic chanting sound to it and superb play of wind instruments
