The Singles 1996-2006: Parental Advisory - Staind

Rating:
music from time to time, and this is one album that I really like from today s generation of rock music. I m not the target audience specifically, but Staind aren t the youngest rockers on the market at present which makes them a bit more accessible to the wider audience than some of the immature bands out there. The Singles 1996-2006 basically includes all the best singles from the band that were released within that decade. Break The Cycle - Staind
by Airwalk2001 - written on 30/08/01 (Very useful, 20 readings)
Rating:
The album combines the heavy rock with peaceful angst lyrics from front man Aaron Lewis. The band linked heavily with Limp Bizkit front man Fred Durst take very little from their friend with this album that sounds nothing like Limp Bizkits in your face rap rock. This is more of a touching soulful album that goes through all the hate and anger felt by the youths of today. The radio hit song Outside which stars Fred Durst is simply an amazing acoustic song, you will find it very hard to find a song you don’t like on this album. This album moves me beyond belief, this sits as one of the greatest albums in my record collection and of this year. The American audience showed this ...

and sonbre "epiphany" and the intro track "open your eyes". So, with Staind quickly becomi ng one of the best metal bands in America, will their talent swin the atlantic and settle here in England, I would think it is possible, but anyone who is not into metal, I would not advise buying this album just because the singles were so brilliant. Anyone who is into this metalness, it is a definate buy, especially for a Kerrang! viewer! ...
