 ... chaotic style of singing and the disjointedness of the tracks which lose the album points for me. He also has a habit of sounding moronic at times for no apparent reason, in fact one thing you can't accuse him of is a lack of variation as he manages to sneak in some warble at times. The upside of the album is definitely the bluesy guitar playing and the lyrics are quite apt for the band's concept, it's just a shame you can't understand them for the most part. I was attracted to this album by the cover which looked a bit old school 80s but with a refurbished design. Valient Thorr are in fact a North Carolina based hard rock band, they have a bit of a space theme, claiming to be from outer space. Vocally, it sounds a bit like a more deep south version of Iggy Pop or Stiv Bates, however Valient Thorr (also the name of the lead singer) has a habit of just going insane, it's the chaotic style of singing and the disjointedness of the tracks which lose the album points for me.
