Advantages: EVERYTHING AS USUAL!
Disadvantages: NOTHING
This is the first No Doubt Album that I added to my collection. After the massive number one hit Don't Speak, I knew that I had to get this album. I first had the single and then bought the album and although it’s been out for years, I'm still listening to it! That’s how great the album is, you'll ever get bored with it! Tragic Kingdom also includes the releases Just a Girl (taken from Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion soundtrack) and Spiderwebs (a track that was released before Dont Speak but failed to make an impression on the charts!) One of my favorite tracks on the album is Spiderwebs, a great funky song with trumpet at the beginning and a great catchy chorus. Other great tracks include Don't Speak, Hey You (which was a B-side on the Don't speak single), Excuse me Mr. which includes a great piano section. Unlike the first two albums, this album decreases it use of ska influences and tends to sound either more Rock and Punk or both influences are equally evident. The most rocking song in my view is Sunday Morning which starts off quite quiet and slow and gradually gains pace within the chorus which is really effective. As far as I'm concerned, there are no weak tracks on this album as the same as the other opinions I have done on the other albums by No Doubt which are all Sublime! End it on this begins with a great riff which compliments the song well. On the whole, This album still lives up to its name as its No Doubt that this band is great and this album will forever remain a classic! 1. Spiderwebs 2. Excuse me Mr 3. Just a girl 4. Happy now 5. Different people 6. Hey you 7. Climb 8. Sixteen 9. Sunday morning 10. Don't speak 11. You can do it 12. World go 'round 13. End it on this 14. Tragic kingdom Hope this opinion has done the Album justice as it trul
y deserves it as do the other albums by No Doubt. Perfect!

- 28/08/01 I agree on that one - in my opinion, most of the tracks seem to be fillers, and only Don't Speak and Just A Girl are worth listening to. |

- 28/07/01 I'm sorry but I found this album a huge disappointment. I loved Don't Speak. It will stand the test of time and become a pop classic but the rest of the album is so completely different. I didn't find any other tracks remotely the equal of Don't Speak. |

- 06/05/01 Good op on an excellent album, I agree that you never get bored of listening to it. Sunday morning has to be my personal favourite, it's a shame only Don't Speak was a hit. Cheers, Jenny. |
