Traktorist is the 2008 album by Di Naye Kapelye. I have to say I hadn't listened to the band before this album and was mostly drawn in by the awesome album cover. The American led Hungarian band based in Budapest kick out the jams with their flavour of Carpathian Klezmer on this CD. Sang in Yiddish and Hungarian, neither languages tned to lend themselves to music so need to be treated gently by just the right voice to coax out the goods. The vocalist on this album, I have to say most definitely doesn't, the world of folk and world music is brimming with talented musicians and because the artists tend to play their own musicians and play them either well or ...
