Trancetastic! (Trance Nation - Ministry Of Sound)
Advantages: Classic tunage Disadvantages: Its an aging album with so much new stuff being produced
An excellent collection of the best trance anthems of late '98 and early '99. Even today you'll recognize all the classics on there - Paul Van Dyk, Robert Miles, Energy 52, ATB, BBE.... Ferry Corsten could have done no harm to his already glowing reputation - his seamless blending makes this album a flawless listen. The inclusion of lesser-known tracks such as X-Cabs, Airwave and Origin adds to the mystique. Ferry Corsten includes several of his own collaborations - System F, Moonman, and Pulp Victim, along with the fantastic Cream by Blank & Jones and the absolutely fantastic Pearl River! This is the best Trance Nation out of the series - if you are looking for something representative of the genre then you've found your album! Summary: |
