Live At The Point - Christy Moore
by DomDom26 - written on 15/05/09 (Useful, 32 readings)
Rating:
life experiences as he was fond of a drink and some of his songs are related to alchol. Although this album is him preforming in Dublin Live at the point. Christy Moore is unique in his own way easy to listening to and his songs are deep and really mean something. Although his songs on this album are a variation of different meanings. Some songs are very funny and have great humor and also he has songs that when he sings it is very touching. He also sings some songs that are sad or also some songs that are fast and racey and pacey. This album has to be the best Christy moore album he has ever released this is because he has played all his excellent songs in front of ...
Ordinary Man - Christy Moore
An Extraordinary Man (1063 words)by - written on 20/12/01

This, his tenth album, was released in 1984, and contains a selection of what has become a pretty standard Christy album combination. The majority of the tracks are traditional Irish folk songs. Throw in a couple more modern Celtic tracks, a folk song or two from another country and a couple of tracks written by Christy himself, and you have the recipe for the usual stunning example of Christy's Celtic offerings. The album is simple in its musical accompaniments, with the standard bodhran (pronounced ...
