I was pleasantly surprised by this album. Quite a few months ago I had seen a fantastically catchy song on the Sunday Night Project, which after doing some research afterwards turned out to be Crying Blood and the singer V V Brown. Straight away I went on to buy the song, but at the time, there was no other songs by her released for purchase. Fast forward a few months and then this album is released along side her new single. After having a few listens to the album, I am pleasantly surprised - I hadn't read any previous write ups or reviews, so wasn't sure what to expect. There are a lot of catchy tunes with retro/nostalgic sounding undertones, but there's also some ones ... Read the complete review

A mixture of dance, pop and rock with a definite retro edge, I was quite excited about listening to VV Brown's latest abum "Travelling Like the Light", unfortunately it's no where near as good as I had imagined it to be from what I'd read about it. You're All Living In Cuckooland - Budgie
Another Budgie album, long after we thought they'd all died.
Not worth the wait (but what would be?)
The Best Of Sky - Sky
Pop - 1994
London Town - Kano
Still has talent even if he doesn't always show it
Clearly some tracks not worth listening to
Got The Thirst - King Prawn
An extremely strong album which blends brilliantly a number of different genres of music.
King Prawn is no more.
Deliver Us From Evil - Germany - Budgie
At least it stopped here.
Sad swan song.
Cubic Space Division - Cubic Space Division
Fine guitar riffs, supreme vocal style, drum beats of pure brilliance.
The music will not be to everyone's taste, may be a little too heavy for some.
Chris Brown - Chris Brown
Loveable and good songs
The album is very limited
Breaking The Fourth Wall - Beecher
The album is a perfect presentation of metalcore music.
If you don't like screaming vocals you certainly won't like this.
Atticus - Dragging The Lake Vol.3
Some strong tracks on display here from a variety of excellent bands.
A couple of the tracks here are deeply disappointing.
