Seven Years: 1998-2005 - ATB
by benlepensive - written on 13/02/09 (Very useful, 17 readings)
Rating:
ATB's 'Seven Years' is an album which collects some of his best work, over a seven year period. Clever title aye? There are all the hits on here and also some gems which are worth drawing attention to. Who is he: Producer and DJ Andre Tanneberger delivers summery sounding music, with a dancefloor sensibility. On this album: You get the big singles including '9PM' which will always ignite any dancefloor and his pumping cover of Adamski's 'Killer.' There are also some lesser known singles. The wonderful 'Let You Go' has a superb riff in it which buries into the head and refuses to leave, it really should have been a bigger hit. I also love 'The ...

Movin' Melodies - ATB
by benlepensive - written on 13/02/09 (Very useful, 16 readings)
Rating:
ATB is one of my preferred dance producers. He manages to combine summery sounding melodies with plenty of dancefloor appeal. This was his debut album and arrived off the back of his number one hit '9pm Till I Come' Who is he: DJ and producer Andre Tanneberger has notched up a string of chart hits but is best known for his number one hit, which was massive on import before becoming a UK smash. On this album: You get the huge number one of course. '9PM' uses a fairly mellow tune, using that twangy guitar to great effect and some sexy female vocals to boot. It is a club classic already and is always recognisable. His followup 'Don't Stop' delivers ...

The Clubber's Guide To Trance: Mixed By Atb - ATB
by trancemaniac - written on 10/04/01 (Useful, 282 readings)
Rating:
CD which subsequently went to no1 in the compilation charts, as all Ministry compilations tend to do. Both CD’s are mixed by Andre Tanneberger or as he’s known to us ATB . I have to say it’s mixed quite badly. Some tracks don’t have the beats matching and some fade out with the next tune fading in. In one instance there is actually no mix!!…It just stops and goes into the next tune after a second or two, unbelievable!! The selection of 100% trance anthems is good, ranging to the darker sounds of ‘Salt Tanks Dimension’ to the cheesier sounds of hmm…there’s nothing outstandingly cheesy on it!. It also includes one of my ...
