Then And Now: Emerson Lake & Palmer Live - Emerson Lake & Pa ...

Rating:
70s supergroup Emerson, Lake and Palmer present this double CD taken from their California Jam concert in 1974 and the 1997/8 tour. Typical of the progressive stadium rock of the era, the 70s concert offers three long tracks that overstay their welcome with self-indulgent solos that seem to be there just for the sake of it. ...

By contrast the second side of the record has almost nothing worthwhile to listen to - as is so often the way with ELP they didn t seem capable of writing a complete album and my interest tends to wane after the rather boring jeremy ...
