The lyrics seem to be about wanting to start a new life with a lover, it almost makes you want to be that lover of hers. After the commercial failure of her second album, Shoot From The Hip in 2003, Miss Ellis-Bextor took a long break to give birth to a child and work on that all important third album. With the third album, she was supposedly revisiting her pop roots which brought her commercial success with her debut, so how did it all work out? The album was titled Trip The Light Fantastic and was finally released in May 2007. Here is my perception of it, track by track... 1.
