I awaited this Stevie Nicks album with some trepidation, I thought her previous album Street Angel had been generally awful apart from one or two highlights. I've been a fan since 1982 (I'm not that ancient - I was only 12!) and I was convinced her glory days were long behind her. Oh how wrong I was! Stevie had been working on Trouble in Shangri-La for the past five years and the title track was inspired by the O.J. Simpson trial, i.e. how the American dream can be suddenly shattered by one terrible act!
