For my first review on this site i figured i would go for something of a classic. The quality and influence of this one album cannot be overstated. Having begun to show their quality on 1992's record "Nurse", it was on "Troublegum" (1994) that they really matured. The blend of melody, emotion, aggression, and addictive catchy songs is something that many bands have tried to emulate since, but few have come close to matching the quality that Therapy? reached here. A fine punk/metal album by these young rockers from Belfast. Heavy guitars are the order of the day,and this is none more evident than on the opening bars of the very first track - "knives". This opener along with other songs such as "Screamager", "Stop it you're Killing Me" and "Turn" are songs other bands would die to have written. This is a stunning album of consistenly good songs. Sounds like Metallica mixed with a touch of Green Day and a smidgen of Radiohead. ... Read the complete review

However, I was pleasantly surprised. Sure, the aggressiveness is still there, and the lyrics are just as dark as I remembered, but these are also great heavy metal tracks. The songs are extremely ...
