Gulaal - Soundtrack

Premium Review Gulaal OST- An underrated gem of an album (529 words)
by aadnan613 - written on 21/04/10 (Very useful, 52 readings)
Rating:

Director Anurag Kashyap is known for his innovative and original films, and with them he always chooses interesting soundtracks. Hit the dance floor! K.K. and Sunidhi Chauhan team up for 'Kambakht Ishq' which is another fast paced number. Composed by Anu Malik, this song tries too hard ...

Love Peace and Poetry Vol. 6

Premium Review Psychedelia in Rio (349 words)
by dangaroo - written on 02/04/10 (Very useful, 10 readings)
Rating:

when combined with the fuzzy guitars of "Inferno No Mundo", keyboard playing on Various songs sound highly influenced by The Doors but it s not always easy to listen out for a European or US influence on the band because a lot of the songs have a regional influence and they quite often do very much their own thing. Most songs will be unknown to the listener unless you ve heard a bit of Brazilian garage before, the only song that s likely to be well known to the majority of listeners is The Buttons - "Birds in My Tree", the girl on the front cover for anyone interested appears on all Love, Peace and Poetry albums and is Cheryl Shrode - a 60s go-go ...
