TRULY MADLY COMPLETELY: THE BEST OF SAVAGE GARDEN A brief introduction to the band- Savage Garden first began with Daniel Jones, one part of the duo with Darren Hayes. Daniel had a band called 'Red Edge', and was looking for a lead vocalist which he had advertised in Brisbane music publication 'time off'. My girlfriend has this album and although i'm not a huge fan of the band I must say that when you put their hits all on one collection they come across as really quite impressive. Incredibley when the dou were together they sold over 23 million records. They're music is hard to describe, it's always upbeat and both guys had excellent voices , Darren Hayes especially although his voice at times did sound a tad efeminate. He's now went on to some single success album-wise too. The album kicks off great with the energy packed hit "Want You" , From growing up hearing this song for some reason I always think of the line "Chicka Cherry ... Read the complete review
