This of course was the Sheryl Crow album that hit her to the big time... It includes the hit singles All I Wanna Do and Strong Enough among many other tracks. The album is generally mellow rock that packs punch as and when it's needed. The album opens with the excellent Run, Baby, Run which is one of the best tracks here. It carries through the emotion of Crow strong singing voice and gets the album off to a good start with strong music to back it up. The next two songs Leaving Las Vegas and Strong Enough are great tracks that keep you interested, without too much rock noise! Strong Enough is the better of the two as it has slightly better vocals ... Read the complete review

Released in 1993, most people ( including me ) bought this on the strength of the brilliant "All I Wanna Do". The truth is that the aforementioned is by far and away the best track on the record. That's not to say that the rest of it isn't up to standard, it is - just not all of it. The first 6 songs are excellent and if memory serves two or three of them were released as singles, "Run, Baby, Run" & "Leaving Las Vegas" spring to mind. "The Na-Na Song" (great title!) wasn't released but definitely should have been as it would have been a sure fire hit. After that though, it tends to go down hill a bit. ... Read the complete review

Tuesday Night Music club is the easiest of easy listening, its such good music to just relax too, especially 'We do what we can'which sounds like a total lounge song! 'All i wanna do' is such a brilliant song, and i have to listen to it over and over when i put this album on, i love it!!!!! 'Leaving Las Vegas' is a really good song, which is very moody, as is 'No one said it would be easy', and 'Run Baby Run' is a song that sounds like it belongs in thelma and louise!!! But they are all really cool songs, and still have that 'new' edge to them, being her first released album. This is an album that i think u will ... Read the complete review

Its a bit difficult to call this album a classic, as Sheryl Crow has not produced that much material. However, I am sure this album will stay in the pole position for some time. There are some very clever lyrics on this album that make me think that her view on life may be a little bitter on a few points, mainly life I think, but htis does not spoil the tracks at all. They come across as observations of experience rather than spleen venting. I bought this album soon after it was released and it has been well played ever since and seems to be a household favourite on Sunday afternoons or days off work slobbing round the house. It is also good music to ... Read the complete review
