Rating:

'Tuff Jam' was a DJ/production/remixing duo consisting of Karl 'Tuff Enuff' Brown and Matt 'Jam' Lamont. They worked relentlessly from the mid-nineties until around 2002, when the guy parted ways and began working on other projects. They are responsible for some of the biggest anthems in the UK Garage scene, in fact, I would recommend you do a quick search for their work on the world wide web as they did have some commercial success and so there may be something that they have done that you know! The UK Garage scene was reaching it's most popular in 1997 and so 'Underground Frequencies Volume 1 was released. A double CD (one mixed, one unmixed) was compiled by ...  Read the complete review

Pretty much every classic garage tune here, No So Solid Crew!, Unmixed and relatively commercial Too commercial?A couple of ommissions

Fun way to exercise and make friends Not for the unenergetic!

Great garage none

Compilation - 2001

Compilation - 2003

lots of tracks some fillers

More products in Music Album

Whirlpool - Chapterhouse
Trancey, trippy, feedback laden shoegazing fare back from the 90s Somewhat generic and not the most original example of it's genre

The Real Ramona - Throwing Muses
Influencial, pioneering, inspirational female led Indie rock A left of centre taste is required for this unique sound

New Wave - Against Me
Highly energised, tightly packed slab of contemporary rock, with no indie influence in sight. Relies on older styles as much as it forsakes the modern.

My Heart Has A Wish That You Would Not Go - Aereogramme
Could conceivably work well to lull babies to sleep, unless they're especially picky. Utterly boring and frustratingly quiet.

Going Blank Again - Ride
A classic CD that should be of interest to today's Indie kids You might not be an Indie kid!

Complications: Trilogy Of Intricacy - Age Of Silence
An interesting concept performed by veterans of the business. No one gets to strut their stuff apart from the vocalist, who harks back to the seventies.

Blacken The Angel - Agathodaimon
Nice background music, if you're partial to a bit of the old melodic symphonic extreme metal. Songs don't stand strong on their own, and the general musicianship is rather bland and dull.

Agents Of Oblivion - Agents Of Oblivion
Dax Riggs perfects his psychedelic style, free from the constraints of Acid Bath. A little uneven, with the more upbeat stoner rock seeming more like filler amidst the gloom.

Agnus Dei, Vol.1

Alice In Chains - Alice in Chains
Original, deep, wonderfully-written You won't find singles here if you're looking for them
