Fleetoood Mac - Tusk The follow up review to Rumours , and what I think is their 2nd best album of all time . Okay you have the greatness of Tango In The Night etc. , but Tusk is raw , unusual , so read on.... A brief history.....> Formed in 1967 and originally called Peter Green?s Fleetwood Mac , the Mac were originally a Britsh blue's band , and to be honest had a fair bit of success . One song in particular 'Albatross' is known by almost everybody , such is its fame , although 'Black Magic Woman' comes a close second . How do you follow Rumouors that was the question,do you stick to the tried and trusted formula or dare to be different. Tusk took the latter approach,under Lindsey Buckinghams guidance the mac moved along musically bringing an edge to the music. The most expensive album made to date critics were many and yet taken as an album there were many great tracks. The title track a fine example of the move away from the previous album. Stevie Nicks Angel and Sisters of the moon are classics in their own right and Christine Mcvie adds her usual quailty songs with Brown Eyes and Over and Over.
