Apparently they still go out in Macc and still act like idiots, getting drunk and getting into fights. Nice little double-entendre in this song:

Having already reviewed their Beer Necessities album I shall move onto one of their compilations. This one is called Twenty Golden Crates, and was released in 1991. It contains their best tracks since 1981 when they recorded their first song. It was my introduction to The Macc Lads when I bought it in about 1997. As I said in my last review there is a section dedicated to the Lads in general so I’ll leave a detailed review for there, but just to say they are still the “rudest, crudest, lewdest, drunkest band in Christendom”.
