Special mention must also go to the brilliant re-vamping of the older song 'Overground' with full on orchestration and to 'Cities in Dust' which, even now I can't listen to without joining in the 'who-oo chorus! Premium Review Twice Upon A Time - Siouxsie & The Banshees: Peek-A-Boo! (173 words)

Rating:

As the title suggests, this is essentially a greatest hits part two, covering the period between 1982 and 1992. With 18 tracks this release offers a good insight into the band's ouput throughout the decade. Premium Review Uncle Fester goes Tony Bennett (1095 words)
by - written on 23/02/02 (Very useful, 81 readings)
Rating:

The first remarkable greatest hits album by Siouxsie And The Banshees covered their first formative years, from the glossy and unrepresentative pop of Hong Kong Garden through the Goth rock chill of the first few albums right up to the richer landscapes of the 'Ju Ju' album, with the 'Spellbound', 'Israel' and 'Arabian Knights' epics. Great debut album from young metal-core band Probably not to your taste!

28 New tracks from the kings of funk rock Maybe a few too many "fillers"

Distinct sound, Great lyrics Sudden forays into electronically-altered musical madness!

Great consistency there isn't really any

A fantastic Second album, Empire and Shoot The Runner Stuntman doesn't exactly fit perfectly but its not a major flaw

Tons of tracks, good liner notes Might be hard to find around

Unholy Trinity - Blitzkrieg
Revival of the class sound, unhindered by the curse of the nineties. Stuck in a time warp, and not the best example of the genre.

The Damned Ship ?????? - Arthemis
Fun, fast power metal. Essentially a Helloween rip-off with Timo Tolkki guitars.

Charm - Danny!
Hip-Hop & Rap - 2006

Battleheart - Battleheart
Strong and impressively varied debut from the Scottish pirates. More clichéd than later releases, and some weaker songs.

Contaminated - Atrocity
Skilled grindcore with satisfying death metal elements. Songs were previously available in a more definitive form.

Negation - Decapitated
Technical, Atmospheric, full of catchy riffs, brilliantly executed None

Reflections Of The... - Goatlord
Dingy atmosphere. So boring.

Mississippi: The Album - David Banner
Hip-Hop & Rap - Gangsta & Hardcore
