Between Two Worlds - I
Talented performers.
But you wouldn't know it from listening to this.
They Will Return - Kalmah
Faster, more energetic and more talented than predecessor.
Classic heavy metal style sounds comparatively weak on occasion.
Tonight's Decision - Katatonia
Good album-art, memorable choruses, innovative guitar work, melancholy, emotive.
Poor drums, repetitive, mainstream
Troll - Lumsk
Probably an impressive folk performance, I expect.
Really boring and samey.
Warzone - Jungle Rot
More of the same.
More of the same.
Halflife - Lacuna Coil
A couple of decent songs.
All pretty samey.
Catalyst - New Found Glory
A terrific album of bouncy pop punk fun.
If you dislike nasal vocal performances then you probably won't like this.
Discouraged Ones - Katatonia
Successful change of direction without losing artistic integrity.
Songs tend towards similarity and over-repetition.
