The remix retains Bell's soaring vocals and gives it more depth. One of my personal favourites is 'It Doesn't Have To Be Like That' which really epitomises Erasure's sound; the thrill of camp synths and Andy's bravado vocals combined with a dancefloor sensibility. After the success of the initial 'Circus' album, the guys decided to release this, which was essentially a remix album. It is a treat for fans of Erasure as you get to hear the tracks in remixed form, plus there are some interesting live performances included. Who are they: Vince Clarke and Andy Bell make up Erasure, Vince writes most of the music and Andy sings.
