I think this, their debut album, was moderately successful, the follow-up flopped and the third was abandoned mid-production and to this day I have never heard anything more about "Win". The only thing I have which proves that they did exist is a rather scratched, vinyl copy of "Uh! Tears Baby" which altho getting on for being 14 years old, still gets the occasional spin on my record-player (yup I still own a device for playing vinyl records). The album is 10...more

Not that I'm biased or anything but it should be a well documented fact that Edinburgh is the centre of the Universe for everything; in terms of culture, literature, architecture, musically, artistically, OK perhaps not everything, Glasgow's football teams are better and they murder more people. Biblically, Edinburgh is probably a good candidate for where it all began. Eden - Edin-burgh, too close to be a coincidence? So what’s that got to do with the pop group Win?
