Black metal fans will find it satisfyingly raw, heavy and powerful without being stilted by poor production values, though this is far from typical black metal as practiced by Mayhem and Immortal. The songs are all fairly long at an average of seven minutes, but rather than repeating the same relentless, hypnotic riffs to the point of trance or tedium, each song's structure displays a clear progression of ideas, with slow...more

Heavy Metal - 2005

Greater variety, offering some great punk, faux-metal and faux-rap stuff or sumptin'. Within each style, the songs are repetitive.

Greater variety than is customary for late Biohazard. Too much emphasis on guest performers, and a disappointing nu-metal trend overall.

Even more ferocious and intelligent than its predecessor. Alienates those who aren't into the general sound.

If you like your metal mellow, but still fast, this is for you If you don't like metal, pass

Classic heavy metal songs with incredible love-or-hate vocals. A little short.
