Burn The Witch - Stone Gods
Brilliant vocals and some fantastically powerful instrumental work.
Fans of The Darkness may find the music of Stone Gods a bit too full on.
Sign Of Truth - Dionysus
More fun power metal, with great production from Tobias Sammet.
Nothing new here.
Sound Of Perseverance - Death
Hugely enjoyable and talented jazz-prog-death metal.
Structurally screwed.
Sounds From A Bygone Age Vol.2 - Romica Puceanu
Some great recordings of rare tracks
Misses some of Romica's best works
Spiritual Healing - Death
Perfects the early death metal style, and is ready to move on.
Still a little repetitive once each song hits its stride.
Stab Wounds - Dark Fortress
Great melodic black metal for newcomers.
Offers little to those already familiar with the genre.
Starfall - Dragonland
Successful experimentation.
Lacks diversity.
Storm Of The Light's Bane - Dissection
Great songwriting, atmosphere, and riffs, powerful atmosphere, varied
None
Stormblast - Dimmu Borgir
unique sound
still a bit monotonous
Spiritual Black Dimensions - Dimmu Borgir
complex, dark
a bit monotonous
