Advantages: Some good songs, good artwork

Disadvantages: Bad flow of tracks tracklist, 2 CDs who wants that ? should have been standard and delexue version

I am one of those people who dont really like or hate Kylie Minogue in any way, although right now i am verging on hate a little. Kylie Minogue is regarded as one of the most successful international female solo artists of the last decade. Various hit singles and albums over a number of years some big hit songs and some not so much have been finally put together in a official complimation to battle all those hundreds of unofficial ones. This is a 2CD set and calling it Ultimate Kylie is good

I think listening to this start to finish means starting in order with all the bad songs i personally feel i think earlier stuff isn't as good as recent stuff, theres no consistency there's alot of good songs and then one bad etc - the latter half of the album is much better from Spinning Around onwards, On A Night Like this is a particular highlight, all the Fever singles and Body Language stands out so much as its so electro not in a bad way though and the rest are varying styles of recent stuff to the really really old stuff

There's no real consistency or flow to the album, i would rather they would have collected together half as many songs, and not tracklisted chronlogically by release date by how the songs flow together, it's the wierdness of how Body Language stands out and how doesnt flow 2/3 tracks are like this and some are not. Kylie Minogue has come out with some good songs obviously the best is the huge mega hit I Can't Get You Out Of My Head, if it where upto me that would be track 1 on this, and the album would be one disc with 16 songs the best ones from each decade ordered by how they flow together going over everything from the decades of releases with some new songs thrown in the mix at the end - maybe it would have been better to have done a standard version like i suggested and a delxue edition in the form of this? would have worked better and because it's 2 CD's means the stores can get away with charging double, when we all know it only costs as half as much to make these CD's!

The artwork is good obviously and the quality of the recordings is acceptable. I think this is a good Greatest Hits and obviously it did well but it could have been better but in no means is it a disaster. Now Kylie Minogue recent album X (i know this is off topic) but that is completely awful and contains about 3 good tracks and the rest just electro rubbish (if i may be frank) this is the best of Kylie Minogue, if you like me are in the middle about Kylie don't like that much or hate either than this is for you!

Summary: Greatest Hits from Kylie finally but some bad choices!
