Advantages: Really good music
Disadvantages: Needed to be longer
N-Dubz are Dappy, Tula and Fazer are from the UK, a hiphop group who have been around for a few years now but it is only in the last year or so that they have become more known in general music circles. The time spent out of the limelight has helped them and this debut album was definitely worth the wait.
Coming in at just under an hour in length, the album contains 14 songs and 3 other pieces. Some of the songs are better known than others due to the radio play they have been receiving such as Strong Again, Better Not Waste My Time and Feva Las Vegas.
The newest songs Strong Again and Ouch really stand out as top quality pieces of music, with the beats in particular being a lot better than the average UK hiphop music and on par with their American counterparts.
The majority of songs included on the album are excellent but even the poorer songs such as Ndubz vs NAA are listenable to although you find yourself wanting to reach for the forward button.
Apart from 1 or 2 songs the album as a whole is very well put together and marks a good start for the band. The UK isn't exactly known for putting out high levels of hiphop artists but in the recent past things have improved greatly and there are several really good artists coming out, with N-Dubz being at the forefront in my opinion. In future they will get even better so get on the bandwagon early!
7.5/10
Summary: A really good debut

- 02/03/09 I'd disagree as my review shows lol
I thought it was really well put together, and is much better than alot of the music coming out of America currently.
Thanks for reading my review though |
