In 2004, Sum 41 showcased their heavier side with the release of 'Chuck'; an album that I greatly enjoyed and considered to be the best of their career. 'Underclass Hero' however sees the band return to their Pop Punk roots, and was actually a welcome surprise when I listened to it for the first time. I was expecting this album to be 'Chuck' the Second; however it is far from being that and is once again a great album. In my eyes Sum 41 have now released four great albums, and will always remain to be one of my favourite Pop Punk bands. 'Underclass Hero' is fifteen tracks strong, giving us another blast of Sum 41 excellence that we have become accustom to over the ... Read the complete review

Underclass Hero is another fantastic album by Sum 41 and it is the most recent album without the previous guitarist Dave Baksh. The album was first released in July 2007 and has reached a peak position of number 1 in Canada and number 7 on the Billboard 200. The band is still going strong which is excellent to see and I really would recommend getting this album because I think there are some great songs on it. I bought the album for £7.99 from iTunes but you can get it cheaper for £5 from Amazon which is a good deal. I really liked how the album contains the same distinctive tone that Sum 41 posses and I really thought it was produced very well in general. The ... Read the complete review

I was a fan of sum41 when i was growing up,around 5 years ago now when fat lip was relased! They were so catchy and had lots of fun,But wen i listen to that first album again, its just so cheesy! I gave up listening to them for 5years,i got into alot more different bands. Until last year this album was realeased i decided to give it a listen for a laugh! I started playing it, and wow and of course it was cacthy and made me smile. They have so improved and yes theres catchy ... Read the complete review

Quite simply one of the best albums ever. No exaggeration there. Easily Sum 41's best album. Such a range of music and every track is amazing. You won't fins one you don't like. It's that's good. Walking Disater, With me, Best Of Me and Underclass Hero. Just a few of the breathtaking tracks. Lyrically it is incredible, just the lyrics on there own are bloody good. Combine that with the instrumental crescendo of basses, guitars and drums, makes a quite amazing experience. If you like Sum 41 you've probabyl already heard this album, if you've never heard any of Sum 41's stuff then make sure this is the first album you buy. I would also highly reccomend their other albums, ... Read the complete review
