Perfect Cd almost bit mellow for deftones fans.

Loyal and slightly varied stoner sludge doom. I don't smoke, so I probably didn't fully appreciate it.

Hard rock to the full None

Gets stuck in your head Gets stuck in your head

Great sludge doom. Repetitive towards the end.

Astronomy - Dragonland
Excellent, compelling, distinctive prog-power metal. Elias Holmlid fancies himself as a soundtrack composer.

Arcane Rain Fell - Draconian
Sad, slow and heavy. Drags on, pretty much continuously.

Black Wings Of Destiny - Dragonlord
Better guitars. Still lacking in power.

Character - Dark Tranquillity
Faster. Samey.

City - Strapping Young Lad
Different Too much going on, vocals irritate me

Consumed By Your Poison - Despised Icon
Moving towards a new sub-genre. Dull and repetitive.

Damage Done - Dark Tranquillity
Fine return to form. No new ideas.

Dealing With It - DRI
Fun, fast, dirty, angry. Not aggressive enough for hardcore fans; not metal enough for thrash fans.

Death Cult Armageddon - Dimmu Borgir
Improved production, and reasonable symphony. Boring.

Back To Times Of Splendor - Disillusion
Unique, inventive, progressive, melodic death metal. Shorter songs feel stifled by comparison.
