The album is fun to listen to, the tracks strong to sing along to. 
All of the bands other albums are a lot better, the tracks all lack passion. Continues to evolve Viking metal in a perfect fusion with black metal. First song steals thunder from the others.

Highly inventive, a perfect balance between polka and black metal elements. Can seem ludicrous at first.

More energetic. Still not enormously varied.

Bold and varied death metal epic. Too sprawling and changeable.

Great example of the early Swedish death metal sound. Few original ideas, and lacking individuality.

Talented death metal with a nice melodic angle. Concessions towards accessibility are mostly disappointing.
