Advantages: Great track variety and features some excellent hits,
Disadvantages: There are some tracks that are not very good.
Up All Night by Razorlight really is a fantatsic album that was released in June 2004. I bought htis for £15 from Saisnbury's although I'm sure you can now get it for £10 or less at HMV for example. Up All Night reached the number 3 spot in the UK charts meaning that it really is a very popular album.
The album in general has a very indie rock style to it and is very typical of Razorlight's distinct sound. The album has 14 tracks on it and has a very stylish album cover which I really liked. Tracks such as "Leave me alone" and "Up all night" really are excellent. They are very upbeat and easy to listen to and both feature very catchy melody's. I was really impressed with the diversity of the album and I really thought that it was very well produced indeed.
Of course this album contains the single "Golden touch" which really does give the album its popularity. It really is a fantastic track and if you havn't heard it before I would be very suprised. It is very upbeat with a great guitar riff that leads to a fantastic chorus. There are also other tracks within the album such as "Stumble and fall" and "Somewhere else" which are very Indie and contain great lyrics.
I would really recommend this album because there is definately enough great tracks on this album to be a good one. "Golden touch" and "Somewhere else" really are the hit singles within the album and make this album well worth getting. I really liked the diversity within the album although all of them contained that distinctive Razorlight sound. I hope this was useful and thank you very much for reading!
Summary: A fantastic album that really will keep any Razorlight fans happy!
