The Charlatans, quite possibly one of the best UK bands of all time, and this album "US and Us only" is possibly one of their finest works!! The opening track "forever" with it's bass lines and entrancing hammond licks lets you you know that what follows on this album is something special...

Fantastic lyrics and all round musicianship all round make this one of most well known Charlatans albums around. With the very colourful history of alot of ups and downs "us and us only" personally for me signalled a turning point in the bands music with a collection of very personal and mature songs.

The album itself is very chilled and laid back, "Forever" ( the opening track) being no exception, i have found over time that it is an album that i can relate to finding all of the songs at some point have some meaning to me and i think listening to the album for yourself will help you to understand this...

In conclusion it is a must have album for any die hard charlatans fan or wether you are a just a dabbler it will have a place...
