Vanessa's debut album "The Power" didn't chart over here in the uk but I bought it and I'm here to tell you it's fantastic. She has a voice like no other teen singer in the industry. Move over Mariah Carey! Vanessa has the best voice I've heard for a long time. Her debut album the Power has just been released here in the UK and it's fantastic. The album shows of the diversity of Vanessa as an artist. I don't think theres any type of music this girl can't sing. If you're looking for a pop free album then I'm afraid this won't be for you. However if you like a bit of pop but just not to the extreme of Britney or Billie then you'll love this. Its a mixture of pop, R&B, dance and Indie tunes.
