I thoroughly recommend this - in fact I reckon 'Vertigo' is one of the slickest, most diverse albums I have bought recently. Groove Armada mix chilled instrumental melodies (conjuring up the feeling of sunbathing on a tropical island), with more urban style hip-hoppy tunes & vocals - 'Whatever, Whenever', for example, reminds me of Massive Attack. Certain songs could be classed as trip-hoppy, however, they are not dark and brooding like Portishead or more recent Massive Attack, they are more of a 'Morcheeba' feel - light & airy although intricate.
