Disadvantages: WHat took them so long??

At this point, Slipknot were non-existent to the world, No one knew what was to come. Volume 3 was difficult process, but it chronicles of the rebirth and re-imagining of slipknot. Unlike previous outings this album showed a brand new feature to slipknots arsenal, Guitar Solos, Ballads, Acoustic Guitars, Banjos, and eclectic sounds. The opener prelude 3.0, is far from slipknot. More pink floyd or king crimson. Notable tracks like Duality is a message to all who tried to finish slipknot simply spraying the message to there face, "you cannot kill what you did not create" Other songs like circle and Vermillion Parts 1 & 2 Display another side of slipknot that has not been seen. Of course the metal is still there, Uniting there fan base with Pulse of the maggots. and reaching a climactic mind-job with sordid nightmare "The Virus of Life".

Slipknot basically refreshed everyones memory with this album. reminding them whose in charge. This band seems to have more fire in them and i doubt it will fade anytime soon. Slipknot are here to stay. Remember that...
