Advantages: Nice pop music

Disadvantages: horrible hiphop

It's always a shame to see an artist reach such a low but when millions and millions of dollars are involved, which is the case in todays music industry it's not all suprising either. Jay-Z once showed all the potential to become one of the hiphop greats but with his "Life and times..." series he's been gradually getting worse and worse, similar to Nas.

Volume 3 of the series sees the full extent of what happens when you sell out. What is suprising is that he's managed to still keep a bit of a HipHop following. This album, simply put, isn't hiphop. This album is just as jiggy, just as pop, just as rubbish as Eminems "Marshall Mathers LP."

If you're looking for good hiphop or the old Jay-Z you certainly won't find it on this album.
