But it?s his vocals and how they blend in so well with the guitars that really appealed to me in the first place. One of the surprise inclusions on my top 10 albums was young up and coming singer songwriter Jason Mraz. The surprise package came through listening to Virgin radio, the various acts they play on there that seem to have a good sound and worth checking out. Along with Mraz I?ve also found Damien Rice but that?s another op for another day. However its this fantastic debut from Mraz mixing pop with a little bit of Jazz that I?ll be focusing on today. Many people have likened him to Dave Matthews, which is a great testament to this young artist who really has sprung up from nowhere.
