The first notable thing about this album is that it is a charity record which is musically acomplished as well. The tracks on this album are either original new material written by the band for this purpose (Hard Fi, Coldplay, Maximo Park, The Coral) or fun experimental cover versions which don't take themselves too seriously (Kaiser Cheifs, Keane, George Michael and Antony (minus the johnsons...)'s cover of Happy Christmas - War is Over). Ten years after the original WarChild Album, entitled HELP, was released, this record came out in September 2005. Like the original Help album, it is a charity record, raising money for children whose lives are torn apart as a result of war. This album is available in CD or download format and I belive the artists involved donated their tracks free of charge. The original Help album featured a wide range of music reflecting the popular and up and coming artists of 1995, and this album is no different.
