I am a very big Green Day fan and will do anything to make the rest of the world realise that they are so good and love them as much as I do! So have a good read and see what you think, maybe I can change you too.

Warning. You’ve had to have heard this song unless you’ve been on Mars since 1995. This album is one of my favourites and one of the best! This has the well know tracks Warning (well obviously) and Minority the Irish rock song. This is one of Green Day’s slowest and not as heavy albums but still it’s great.

This song has some great slow tracks with a few kind of heavy tracks placed in. This album is an album for everyone and is a great easy-listening one. This is full off tracks that you will listen to again and again and love at first listen like Castaway, Fashion Victim, Minority and Macy’s day parade.

This album has some great lyrics like I have said in the other Green Day album opinions and it has some of the best tunes to have you singing to yourself all day. If you like Green Day or easy listening rock, get this album, it’s worth it.

The tracks go like this:

1: Warning: Probably the most famous except minority, this song is great. It has a fantastic tune and is really cool. The bass line and drums go really well and the tune will stick in your head for days! The lyrics are really funny if you read them in the booklet like, “Caution: Police line you better not cross, is the cop or am I the one that’s really dangerous!” If you ever get chance see the video to this song, it’s good!

2: Blood, Sex and Booze: A strange song but with a great beat and amazing tune. The lyrics are really weird and sound totally different than what they actually are. This is a pretty cool song with some amazing bass, guitar and drums to go with it. This song is good and worth listening to over and over and never gets boring even after the 100th time, trust me
!

3: Church on Sunday: One of mine and most of my friend’s favourite songs. This is a really catchy song with really catchy lyrics and tune. This song has some great lyrics even if you don’t know the end bit to the chorus, which hardly anyone does! This is another song that grows on you the more times you listen to it and one that u will listen to again and again.

4: Fashion Victim: Great song! This is one of the best on Warning and one with some of the best lyrics. This is a really good song to play to a kid with all the latest clothes cause he thinks he look cool (like someone I know but I wont say anything, just in case!). This has the great guitar backing ever and the singing is pretty good! This sounds great live if you can ever get that!

5: Castaway: I first heard this on the late show in the live studio on radio 1 about 2 months ago and loved it. This is an amazing song and one of my favourites. The bass sounds amazing and it’s got some cool lyrics. The whole song is fantastic and another that never gets boring. This is really catchy and another one that you’ll be singing in the shower or dancing to it played an invisible guitar.

6: Misery: This is my friend’s favourite out of all the Green Day songs. It’s the weirdest I’ve heard and sounds like a Jewish song, something out of Schindler’s list. This is a weird song with some freaky lyrics. This song is good but don’t let first impressions put you off.

7: Deadbeat holiday: Not sure first I heard it but now I love it. This has some great lyrics and is really catchy. This has a great tune and is another one that you’ll be singing to over and over. Another of my favourite songs and kind of heavy compared to some of them on this album.

8: Hold on: Beatles, that’s the first thing I thought when I heard when I turned this on. This is scarily a kind of church song but it’s still good onc
e you get into it. This is not one of my favourite but really easy listening and a great song to listen to if you want a quiet night in.

9: Jackass: Another heavier track for Warning and one of the best. This has to have the best opening line, “To know you is to hate you, so loving you must be like suicide!” This song is good and I know a few people that say this is their favourite!

10: Waiting: Another mellow track for Warning, but still a really good track this has a really good chorus and it’s another really easy-listening song. This still has some good guitar solos and some good drum beats.

11: Minority: Who doesn’t know this song? This is the best song Green Day have ever done by far. Minority is known by most people just by the chorus, “I want to be the Minority, I don’t need your authority!” This is the Irish touchy song and loved by practically everyone. If you get this album it’s all worth it for this song! This is the best song and if you don’t love this, get out more!

12: Macy’s Day Parade: This is another, yes another mellow one and still as I’ve said before on the best. This song is liked by most people, and is really good with some great lyrics. This song is as easy listening as Green Day get and still remains amazing!

So that’s it, my review on the great album Warning. I know this is a good album and people have put it down and said it’s not as good as Nimrod and Dookie but Minority is my favourite song so I have to put it 5 stars. Look out for Green Day’s new album out this month, Internation Superhits including all the best tracks from each album and two new ones. So go out now new Green Day fans and spread the news.
