'Alexisonfire' pronounced Alexis-On-Fire hailing from Saint Catherines, Ontario, Canada are a five-piece Post-hardcore band. Having already had a major release with their first album named after the band itself, they dicided to release their second full length release 'Watch Out!' in June 2004, the album later becoming Platinum Certified in April 2007. This album has been said to be more structured than the last album and even contains more of the guitarist 'Dallas Green's' Clean Vocals. Alexisonfire show real progression from their super shouty/screamy debut. 'Watch Out' is a very modern, eclectic album, which maintains the hard edge displayed by their earlier work, and factors in a new melodic side to the band. First track 'Accidents' flies out of the blocks, more punk than metal, a gang chorus bumping up against the melodic chorus, its a great opener, and manages to illustrate the changes in the bands sound perfectly. Second track 'Control' is a doozy.
