The interesting thing (from a lyrical point of view) is that the second & fourth lines in each chorus of the song are different whilst the first & third (which are "My Mama Said") remain the same. 06) Dance (While The Music Still Goes On) I rather like this. Premium Review Waterloo - ABBA: Waterloo: A review of Abba's second studio album (694 words)
by - written on 20/05/09 (Very useful, 31 readings)
Rating:

Abba's second album was named after their Eurovision winning track & originally featured 12 tracks by the group. 01) Waterloo. Triumped at Eurovision in 1974 & went to number one in the UK & a number of other countries. This is without doubt the best track on the album, but better singles were to come from the group. 02) Sitting In The Palmtree An odd little track which sees Bjorn take on lead vocals. Premium Review Abba - Waterloo (122 words)
by - written on 07/10/00 (Useful, 61 readings)
Rating:

This is by far the worst of Abba's albums, but they can be forgiven as it was an early one. Apart from the title track "Waterloo", the rest of it really isn't very good at all. I had to have it in my collection as I'm a real Abba fan, but it definitely isn't one of their better ones. A couple of tracks spring to mind - "King Kong Song " and "My Mama Said" - however many times I listen to them I can't work out what they're about! So buy this album if you're a die hard fan who needs to complete their collection, otherwise give it a wide berth! ...  Read the complete review

Good to relax to. Celine Dion is a great singer with such passion and love in her voice Not a good album to listen to if you want something a bit more up beat.

Strong, cohesive album I Have A Dream ~ a bit wet!

TAKE A CHANCE A BIT CHEESY

The opening and ending songs are brilliant Very samey, not a particularly surprising album

Beautiful lyrics, music, amazing vocals, very passionate No lyrics in the cover booklet

Good-time ABBA like it was meant to be. You probably already own the songs.

The two tracks mentioned above, it's still quite comical Musically it is pretty poor

New style yet again The tracks are fun rather than containing any lyrical meaning!
