generally refused to listen to much else. This album changed all that, and has ultimately made me far less elitist and far more open-minded when it comes to music. Breaking Benjamin play a form of Alternative Rock that is often rather melancholic however couldn t really be classed as "emo." A more appropriate tag to class it as would be "insanely catchy." Breaking Benjamin - Phobia - 2006 I am not a great fan of metal or grunge and this band kind of straddles both genres, although my son, who wanted this album, tells me they are alternative metal .
