Heading to 'Yellow Brick Road' which is average and would suffice for a less discerning audience. I quite liked the tuneful backing vocals, though the synths sound a bit dated here. 'Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me' is a little tepid and the backing track seems way too sleep and that it can't really be bothered to inject any enthusiasm into the song. We love Elton don't we. Don't we? I don't mind his stuff, so I approached this CD with caution. It is another of those offerings from the Almighty record camp. They specialise in cheesy club remixes of well known songs. This album is full of Elton John covers. Nothing else, just Elton remakes! There are twenty nine songs on here in total and on the second disc you get a special seamless megamix! It kicks off with an ample remake of 'Your Song.' A female vocal which sounds quite whimsical, packed to the hilt with spangly synths but lacking drive and conviction on the chorus.
